The
Lakota
people made a treaty with the Star Nation to pray with a pipe
and be Stewards of the sacred Black Hills. Everyone talks about the trea-
ties without the understanding that the first treaties were made with the Star
Nation, Stone Nation, Eagle Nation, Thunder Nation, Bear Nation, Buffalo
Nation, and the Earth.
If you look at most books on astronomy, the galaxy we live in has four „arms“
- Sagittarius Arm. Perseus Arm, Centaurus Arm, and the Orion Arm, where
our solar system is located. The whirlwind symbol represents these four
„arms.“ The
Lakota
medicine men knew this through their sacred dreams.
